The Food Collection is a seasonal favourite here at Clothing Kanji. Fun foods and luxurious fabrics finally meet to form something great. We have fused simplicity in all our designs this year. Keeping with our core values, every design was carefully crafted by hand to absorb the most of their inspirations. Their influence is drawn from pop culture and Japanese culture, as well as some fan favourite anime. You can view the current products in the flavour filled group below.
The Half Moon (立花 瀧) is a shirt that spawned out of our love for ramen. Although this T doesn’t have food on it, we feel that it still belongs in our Food Collection. It may take a keen eye and some re-watching, but you should be able to guess why this is where it is.
The perfect shirt you wish you could crack open on a hot summer’s day. The Soda T Shirt (ソーダ) was birthed for one reason. We seriously have an addiction to rare Japanese soda pops. We love all of the good fizzy, bubbly, sugary watery stuff.
It’s the best to go get a bowl at your local noodle bar as late as you can get there before closing; and now you can have a shirt to wear there too! This shirt was designed to be sleek and fashionable for the hot new food craze sweeping North America. This shirt is hot like a bowl of soupy thin noodles.
Have a little tasty bite of Ichigo strawberry delight. A fresh strawberry is truly one of the best fruits you could ever have. Anyway, this shirt was designed to be cute for both him and her, using a fruit that has never gone out of fashion.
The Tanjerin T Shirt (タンジェリン) is suitable for everyday wear, the same way you have a glass of orange juice every morning. This time around we promise getting this in the mail won’t be the same as the feeling you get when you’ve had three glasses of orange juice on an empty stomach. It’ll be a good feeling.
Jusubokkusu (ジュースボックス) is a new and improved juice box designer T Shirt. The Jusubokkusu T Shirt was created with precision and attention to detail on what makes a juice box fun and drinkable. We wanted to make something that looked tasty, but also had a clean cut look.
This is a very happy looking Suika T Shirt (スイカ). We like to think that this Suika is smiling super hard so that you can walk away wearing both a smile and this t shirt. We ended up having to design a full watermelon and then cut it in half.
Spinning influence from different retail outlets, we found it appropriate to put the most inappropriate fruit on one of our t shirts. So grab a Banana and peel away while you sit back and wait for this guy in the mail.
He’s Mr Painappuru! He’s back and he looks better than ever. Mr. Painappuru came from a fun thought, what would Mr Sparkle would look like as a pineapple? So that’s what we did. We designed a brand new Mr Sparkle from scratch, except this time, he’s a pineapple. He’s Mr Painappuru!
It’s a Gyoza! It’s tasty, and it’s back and ready for snacktion in t shirt form. Halo’d by some nice green onion accents, this Gyoza is sure to be the hit of the party. Even though there’s no sauce, you’ll have the sauce wearing this Gyoza T Shirt.
